Craft Shedquarters was born from a simple idea: a friendly, welcoming space where crafters of all kinds can come together, share their passion, and learn from one another. Whether you love crochet, knitting, sewing, embroidery, or anything crafty, there’s a place for you here.

We’re Lisa and Dymphna, two friends brought together by a shared love of crafts (and, funnily enough, a mischievous little dog named Roo). Between us, we bring years of experience in designing, teaching, and curating quality crafting supplies, and we’ve created Craft Shedquarters as a space to connect, inspire, and grow.

Meet Lisa

Lisa is a crochet designer and tutor, passionate about creating patterns and tutorials that make learning new skills easy and enjoyable. She runs in-person and online workshops, designs crochet kits and patterns, and films detailed tutorials to help people thrive in their crafting.

With a background in teaching and customer service, she loves nothing more than helping others grow in confidence and creativity. From her cosy Lambshack studio in the Lancashire countryside, she works on new designs, teaches classes, and—when she’s not crafting—spends time with her beloved dog, Roo, and her small flock of resuce sheep.

Meet Dymphna

Dymphna grew up in Shetland, surrounded by the incredible traditions of Fair Isle knitting and wool crafting. She has always been passionate about textiles, and after a career in IT and finance, she returned to her first love—crafting.

She opened Dymphna Jane, a thriving haberdashery on the A674 in Higher Wheelton, carefully curating high-quality sewing, knitting, and crochet supplies. Her shop is more than just a place to buy materials; it’s a community hub where crafters can find inspiration, guidance, and friendly advice.
