The Barton Beanie - Crochet Hat kit with Pure Wool
The Barton Beanie is a fabulous short row crochet hat made from pure wool from a farm less than 10 miles from me. Heather of Barton Wool raises the sheep, prepares and hand dyes all the yarn, creating one off colour ways so no two kits will ever be the same.
The Barton Beanie is a great introduction to Short Row Crochet and some lovely new stitches to create a rib for the Beanie.
The fabulous kit from Craft Shedquarters contains the following:
100 grams of Chunky Barton Wool
6mm Prym Ergonomic Crochet Hook
2 Stitch Markers
Acess to: On-line video tutorials, Private Facebook Group, Questions and Answers and one-to-one video call help.
The kit and the support is aimed at intermediate crocheters who are ready to try out new stitches and learn to read a pattern. The kit contains everything you need to make your Barton Beanie. The kit includes access to private facebook group for step by step videos, chats, questions and answers and option to book one-to-one video calls to help with the kit.
The details of the facebook group will be emailed to you. The facebook book group is a private group for the kit and is managed by Lisa of Lambtastic Lamb and Dymphna of Dymphna Jane. There are high quality videos showing every step of the way.
The pattern is very easy to follow and the videos will walk you through the pattern. All terminology is US terminology, but again this will be explained.
You will be able to chat, ask questions and book appointments for a video call to help you with your blanket.
