The Silver 1040 is a user-friendly, computerized sewing machine which has a choice of 80 stitch patterns, easily selected at the push of a button and displayed on the LCD screen. A handy pull-out reference plate illustrates the full pattern range. With a contemporary design the 1040 is our lightest computerised machine at 5.3kg and is ideal to carry to classes. A hard case is included.

All stitch selections are made with the touch of a finger and shown in the very bright, well-lit LCD display which makes it easy to see which stitch you've chosen as well as the stitch width and length, which can be adjusted to your preferences. There are 80 fabulous pre-programmed stitches including 6 styles of automatic one step buttonholes. A jam-proof, magnetic, top-loading, full rotary hook system eliminates the need for a removable bobbin case. 

At 5.30kg, the Silver 1040 is our lightest computerised machine and is ideal to carry to classes. The Silver sewing machine also features a seven piece feed mechanism, a drop feed facility, automatic needle threader. There’s also a speed control lever for setting the maximum sewing speed and by using the stop/start button you dont have to use the foot control and the machine comes complete with a hard case to keep your new machine safe and secure.
